How It Works

We’ve made the process simple, ensuring clarity and care during a difficult time. After checkout, you will receive mailing instructions by email. Once the cremated remains arrive, we honor your loved one by scattering them in the woods according to your chosen customizations. You may also request to have the urn returned to you.

Safety and common sense guide all ceremonies, so not all experience and weather combinations are possible. In addition, Farmstead Scattering offers flexible pre-planning services, with ceremonies scheduled up to five years in advance.
